Hiya - Lynn Ann here. I'm the front-woman/singer/songwriter of Gate 18,
born and still residing in Queens , New York . I formed Gate 18 in 1992 -
after many years playing in various cover projects. The band is named after
an alarming acid trip I had at a Grateful Dead show at the Meadowlands
Arena. My seat was in Gate 18. So there you have it.

My music consists of an extensive collection of original material
encompassing Rock, Jazz, Swing, Blues, Celtic-Folk, Classical, Punk, Funk,
Rap, Psycho-billy and everything in between. I've been featured on
several compilation CD projects since 1994. Various songs from "GATE 18:
Live at CBGB's, NYC have been featured on "Planet X", a California-based
'MTV-type-extreme-sports-program'.

Since the release of my first original demo in 1992, me and my band have
been playing the NYC club circuit on a regular basis at the following New York City
venues: Tribeca Blues; Wetlands; CBGB's; The Mercury Lounge; Tobacco Road;
Desmond's; Rubyfruit's; The C-Note; The Orange Bear; Kenny's Castaways;
Manitoba's; The Baggott Inn; Acme Underground; The Lion's Den; The Bitter
End; The Elbow Room; Sidewalk Cafe and Nightengales to name a few as well
as many outdoor festivals and benefit concerts.

The music of Gate 18 is featured on the countless radio and internet music
stations spanning the USA , as well as Europe . We've also conducted live,
on-air radio interviews and performances at New York University , Pace
University in NYC, the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and are featured
